AWS Continuum — AI-Native Security Agent Family for Vulnerability Management (GA)

SolutionsHigh impactGlobal
AWS launched AWS Continuum at AWS Summit New York (June 17, 2026) as a generally available AI-native security service covering vulnerability discovery, validation, prioritization, threat modeling, and autonomous remediation. The family includes penetration testing (GA), code scanning (GA), threat modeling (GA), and code vulnerability agents (preview).
Continuum represents enterprise-scale agentic vulnerability management at machine speed, addressing the 'vulnpocalypse' where CVE volume has reached 50,000/year and average time-to-exploit has gone negative (exploits precede patches). It compresses the detection-to-remediation window and learns continuously, graduating from 'learn mode' to eventual 'enforce mode' where humans become auditors rather than blockers.
AWS customers and enterprises with code-heavy, cloud-native workloads should evaluate as a consolidated alternative to manual vulnerability triage; adoption readiness is immediate (GA for most modules).
