On Sept 29, 2026 Palo Alto Networks introduced CLARA Agent, an AI agent that connects Strata Cloud Manager to Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise so teams can query cloud security data conversationally (infrastructure/attack-surface discovery, shadow-AI surfacing, vulnerability prioritization), delivered via A2A + MCP and available on Google Cloud Marketplace.
Why it matters
Extends Palo Alto's agentic security push directly into a mainstream AI workplace tool, democratizing cloud posture visibility beyond security specialists and giving a new entry point for SCM customers on Google Cloud.
